Job summary

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
  • NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred.
  • AARC Office Spirometry Certificate required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Pulmonary Function Screenings using spirometry to assess lung function.
  • Provide patient education on test preparation and inhaler/nebulator use.
  • Administer respiratory treatments such as albuterol when appropriate.
  • Perform pre- and post-pulmonary function testing and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Monitor patient progress and ensure safety during procedures.
  • Collaborate with pulmonologists and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and high standards of respiratory care.
