Job summary

Mattel's American Girl Retail team in Orlando is seeking a Party Planner to craft magical events through superb communication and organization. You will work one-on-one with guests to design experiences that align with AG specifications and ensure a memorable visit.

Responsibilities include timely party execution, greeting and seating guests, upselling, handling orders and payments, and maintaining a vibrant dining area.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in customer relations, parties or events.
• 1–2 years in high-volume dining or related restaurant, preferred.
• Experience with children, preferred.
• ServSafe certification, preferred.
• Good verbal and communication skills required.
• Warm, friendly demeanor with public speaking ability.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute party events in accordance with AG standards, including games, crafts, hair styling and doll care.
• Coordinate with staff to greet and seat guests, take orders, upsell and service the party throughout the event.
• Maintain dining room and party room ambience; manage beverage/food orders and dessert preparation; handle checks and to-go transactions.
• Communicate with management and Retail Sales and Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to health sanitation laws and safety guidelines; perform daily tasks for FOH and BOH areas.
