Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Electrical Spacecraft Technician for the ORION program on the 3rd shift at Kennedy Space Center, FL. You will perform electrical assembly, harness fabrication, testing and installation for developmental and production units.

Requirements include a high school diploma with technical training equivalent to an Associate degree and 3+ years of experience; US citizenship is required; an A&P license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical assembly, harness fabrication, testing or related work.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and install electrical or electro-mechanical components per schematics, blueprints and instructions.
• Work from schematics, blueprints and oral guidance to build or modify developmental assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Perform quality testing and possible rework as needed to support production or prototype units.
• May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing as part of development activities.

We are seeking a ORION Spacecraft Technician Electrical, Senior, 3rd Shift in Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strong Electrical background stemming from harness fabrication, testing, and installation.
• Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.
• Works from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
• Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing.
• A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) license

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3+ years or more of experience.
• Must be a US Citizen
