Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services SFS seeks an Originations Business Systems Engineer I to design, configure, and implement solutions within the enterprise Originations System. You will translate complex requirements into executable rules, workflows, and system logic in an Agile environment.

The role requires collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams, documenting configurations, and supporting integrations using JavaScript. Travel and overtime are possible as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Credit or Funding within the auto finance lending industry.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Systems Engineer/Rules Developer/Configurations Analyst.
• Minimum 2 years in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Advanced ability to architect complex calculations, business rules and decision logic within a LOS.
• Proficiency in visual process mapping and technical writing.
• Ability to act as technical intermediary between business and tech teams.
• Experience using JIRA or similar tools in Agile/Scrum contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features including business rules, credit/funding logic, workflows, and UI enhancements in the originations system.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to design effective technical system solutions.
• Manage configuration changes with validation and testing for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve moderately complex system issues and production bugs; collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Maintain records of system configurations, change requests, and code reviews.
• Assist in building custom system integrations by developing JavaScript-based formulas and data transformation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement features include business rules creditfunding logic automated workflows and user interface enhancements in the assigned loan originations system Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to design effective technical system solutions Manage configuration changes and updates with minimal supervision conducting thorough validation and testing to ensure accuracy and compliance Resolve moderately complex system issues and production bugs collaborating with cross functional teams and vendors when system limitations are identified Maintain precise records of system configurations change requests and code reviews to ensure alignment with operational standards Assist in building custom system integrations by developing JavaScript based formulas and logic specific to Retail as well as understanding data transformation

Required ExperienceQualifications and Competencies Required

• Minimum 5 years experience in Credit or Funding within the auto finance lending industry
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Systems Engineer Rules Developer or Configurations Analyst or similar
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an AgileScrum environment
• Advanced analytical ability to architect complex calculations business rules and decision logic within a Loan Origination System LOS
• Proficiency in visual process mapping and technical writing to document intricate system configurations and workflows
• Demonstrated ability to act as a high level technical intermediary between business stakeholders and cross functional technology teams
• Intermediate experience utilizing JIRA or comparable project management tools to manage tasks within an AgileScrum framework

Education

Bachelors or 4 year college degree in businessinformation technology or a combination of experience

Work Schedule

Ability to work Monday Friday between 8AM 6PM weekends as needed to accommodate business needs
