Job summary

Menasha Corporation seeks a hands-on operator to set up and run processing equipment, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety. You will stage materials, load and unload machinery, verify settings, and inspect parts against blueprints.

In this role, you’ll actively participate in CI initiatives, maintain a clean workspace, and work as part of a collaborative team across our packaging and supply chain platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating processing equipment (drill, shear, plasma).
• Ability to verify machine settings by measurement and first-run parts.
• Demonstrated involvement in CI/5S and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in the Processing department with quality and efficiency.
• Stage raw materials at the work center for daily production.
• Load/unload machines, crane, and related equipment safely.
• Inspect parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and support CI activities.

About The Opportunity

Perform the daily set up and operation of the processing equipment (drill, shear, plasma, ironworker, etc.)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machinery within the Processing department with high quality and efficiency.
• Stage raw materials at the work center for the day’s production.
• Load and unloadmachines, crane, jib crane, etc.
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
• Inspect and measure partsto ensure blueprintspecifications are met.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Contribute to a team effort.
• Maintain safe and clean work space.
• Other duties as assigned.
