Job summary

Vanguard Renewables in Kentucky seeks an ORF Operator to run depackaging of food waste at the Organics Recycling Facility.

You will perform daily rounds, record process data, assist with maintenance, and support health and safety programs while coordinating with team members.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts and heavy equipment. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Depackaging of food waste and products at the facility.
• Manage daily truck loads.
• Record operational parameters and respond to trends.
• Write work orders for repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs.
• Support safety programs and keep an accident-free workplace.
• Oversee safety for on-site contractors.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities.
