Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Transplant Preservationist to perform aseptic recovery and coordinate organ/tissue preservation and transport. This full-time role involves traveling as needed and working with surgical teams to ensure high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Requires an Associates Degree or CTP/CTBS certification; BS in Health Science preferred. Valid driver’s license and OR experience are strongly desired, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs aseptic recovery of tissue including eyes, bones, ligaments and more per policy.
• Coordinates recovery, preservation and transportation of donated organs.
• Operates preservation machines and cannulates as directed.
• Evaluates donors and coordinates logistics for recovery teams.
• Ensures regulatory requirements are met for all recovered organs and tissues.
