The Role

Designs and implements development training programs to enhance the effectiveness of managers and teams to increase organization productivity and customer satisfaction. Assesses critical business issues and designs organization development and strategic plans to enhance company performance. Facilitates design and implementation of reengineering and/or reorganization efforts. Advises on team design and performance. Provides development, coaching and training managers on leadership skills.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing leadership development programs
  • Experience conducting needs assessments
  • Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE
  • Experience designing experiential learning, including case studies, scenarios, role plays, reflection activities, and application exercises
  • Ability to design learning beyond the classroom such as job aids, leader guides, coaching tools, reinforcement activities, and on-the-job learning
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Kotter, or similar frameworks
  • Working knowledge of leadership and team effectiveness concepts such as emotional intelligence, coaching, feedback, conflict management, team development, influence, etc.
  • Experience designing executive-ready materials, including presentations, instructor guides, participant materials, and leadership communications
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with an eye for visual storytelling, information hierarchy, and professional presentation design
  • Experience working with an LMS
  • Experience designing objective-based learning for adults
