Job summary
Glory, a global leader in customer experience automation, seeks an Order Specialist to maintain warehouse stock and technician inventory, coordinating with field, partners, and customers to keep supply moving.
In this permanent full-time role, you will process orders, verify inventories, and collaborate with purchasing to protect delivery promises, with emphasis on accuracy and urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required; bachelor’s preferred or 3+ years related experience.
- Strong sense of urgency to fulfill part requirements.
- Able to sit for extended periods.
- Inventory control experience preferred.
- Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Able to interact effectively with stakeholders by phone and email.
- Able to perform basic numerical calculations and data interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming parts and supply orders for field, partners, and customers.
- Review, schedule, and revise shipment plans for efficient product distribution.
- Verify inventory reports against physical counts and resolve variances.
- Issue orders, set safety stock levels, and manage releases for field/partner/customer orders.
- Coordinate with managers to assess progress and discuss changes.
- Follow up on Defective Material Reports through to closure.
- Manage partner forecasts for Glory affiliates domestically and internationally.
- Liaise with purchasing to meet order promises and resolve shipping issues.
- Promote good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for maintaining stock in the warehouse and technician’s inventory, operating within cost restraints and supplier’s lead time. Handles incoming parts and supplies orders from field, partners, and customers. Supports functions related to inventory accuracy.
- Process incoming parts and supply orders for field, partners, and customers. Review, schedule, and revise shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customer requirements.
- Verifies system perpetual inventory reports against physical count of inventory, research issues, and correct variances.
- Issue orders to meet customer requirements, define safety stock levels, internal sub-component build and any rework requirements. Release management for field, partner, and customer orders. Emergency sourcing with established vendors
- Confer with department managers or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
- Follow up on Defective Material Reports (bad out of box or early life failures) through to closure.
- Manage partner forecast for Glory affiliates, domestic and international.
- Liaison regularly with the purchasing department to maintain order promise dates, investigate shipment issues with various shipping vendors (inbound & outbound) to expedite flow of materials and meet customer expectations..
- Establishes and promotes good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training
- Strong sense of urgency to fulfill part requirements in a field service organization.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Preferred inventory control experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to interact effectively, primarily on the phone, to stakeholders including field technicians, managers, customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
