Job summary

Arizona Complete Candy & Tobacco is seeking a hard-working Order Filler/Order Selector to join our warehouse team in Downtown Glendale. You will read incoming orders, pick the correct products, and prepare shipments with accuracy and efficiency.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, walking several miles per shift, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Pay is $16.50–$18.00 per hour, with bi-weekly pay and a typical schedule of 30–40 hours weekly; start time around 8 am, Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in a high-volume wholesale distribution warehouse preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to operate pallet jack/hand truck.
• Must pass drug tests and background check.

Responsibilities

• Reads pick tickets to determine catalog number, size, color, and quantity.
• Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves and picks orders for shipment.
• Transports orders to shipping locations with handling equipment.
• Organizes items on pallet by route and weighs/re-packages as needed.
• Keeps equipment and warehouse clean and reports damage.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and detail-oriented Order Filler/Order Selector/Order Picker to join our team. As an Order Filler, you will be tasked with the important responsibility of ensuring customer orders are fulfilled correctly. You will read incoming orders and select the correct products and quantities from the warehouse for delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receives pick tickets from Warehouse Supervisor and reads the order to ascertain catalog number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise.
• Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves.
• Picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Carries or transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with materials handling equipment
• Organize items on pallet by the delivery route.
• Re-packs and weighs orders which require such handling
• Maintains material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction and connecting the battery to the recharging station at the end of shift
• Checks inventory code dates and report any spoiled or damaged product to Warehouse Supervisor
• Assists in keeping warehouse clean (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc).
• Stocking
• Performs additional duties as directed

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Walk 6+ miles a day
• Bending, squatting, lifting, etc
• Overhead lifting
• Able to work in the heat/cold (warehouse is swamp cooled)

Qualifications

• General knowledge of various basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc. Equal to a high school diploma
• One year and up experience in a high-volume wholesale distribution warehouse preferred but not required
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to operate hand truck and pallet jack (manual, electric)
• May be exposed to dust, heat, and humidity to the degree of disagreeable.
• Must be able to pass drug tests and background check
