Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate in Lexington, KY. You will support outbound and inbound operations, ensure order accuracy, and maintain data records. You will collaborate with Team Lead, resolve problems, and help train teammates while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Familiar with WM and RF environment preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to sustain extensive walking/standing for the shift.
• Ability to sustain bending and lifting for the shift.
• Follows safety rules to ensure a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure order accuracy before shipping outbound tasks.
• Communicate issues to Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Record and organize data in spreadsheets.
• Keep work area clean and organized daily.
• Assist inbound teammates with problems.
• Count and monitor merchandise by product number and location.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet DC goals.
• Assist training and cross-training of team members.
• Operate material handling equipment (Fork, Order Selector, Walkie, Pallet Jack).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Other duties may be assigned
• Ensure Order Accuracy before shipping for all Outbound “Tasks”
• Communicate with the Team Lead/Supervisor regarding all problems and needs
• Develop and relay improvements to the Team Lead/Supervisor
• Record, Calculate, Enter, and Sort Data into spreadsheets
• Ensure all outbound tasks are completed in accordance with Department procedures
• Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Ensure the department’s work area is clean, neat, and organized each day (i.e., boxes, bins, sweeping, and all trash). Daily paperwork is filed neatly and organized in accordance with Department procedures
• Assist Inbound team members with resolving problems
• Count, research, and monitor the activity of merchandise by product number and location
• Communicate with members of other Departments as needed to process orders to meet DC Goals
• Assist in training, cross-training, and development of members of the Outbound team
• Operate Material Handling Equipment, including Fork, Order Selector, Walkie, and Pallet Jack
• Perform other duties as assigned
