Job summary

Performance Food Group in Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Selector to support our distribution network. You will select and move products between the loading dock and warehouse, using pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 60–100 lbs depending on location, and working in multi-temperature environments. Night shifts run Sunday to Thursday with starts between 3pm and 6pm; full-time employment with competitive benefits is

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs location dependent.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Electric Pallet Jack certification may be required during training.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare supplies for operations.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE.
• Move pallets between loading dock and warehouse; use pallets and racks.
• Transport finished orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap as needed.
• Complete paperwork and meet productivity and accuracy standards.

Position Details

• Pay: Starting at $17.50 Hourly
• Schedule/Hours: Sunday - Thursday, NIGHT shift. Start times between 3pm & 6pm

Position Summary

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

As a Selector, you will select and move product between the loading dock and the warehouse and within the warehouse. You may also utilize company provided equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, tuggers, carts, etc.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Reviews work schedule, obtains supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Performs safety check on pallet jack / forklift to be used and ensure that all other safety devices are functioning properly.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Places pallets on pallet jack and operates along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Manually places the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Uses single and/or double pallets as directed.
• Transports completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallet for staging.
• Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• At the end of the shift, secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs. regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs. (location dependent)
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to become Electric Pallet Jack certified within the new-hire training period
• Ability to complete required training independently

Preferred qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience
