Job summary

Wis-Pak in Sault Ste. Marie, MI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support loading and unloading trucks, operate forklift equipment, and ensure accurate inventory documentation in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will follow safety protocols, use barcode scanners and computer systems, and contribute to a safe, clean workspace while meeting production needs and overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Forklift certification or ability to pass test.
• Strong reading/writing in English and basic computer/scanner skills.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in our logistics and distribution operations. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation—all while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

What You'll Do

• Follow all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet-building machines, and yard tractors
• Use barcode scanners and computer systems to track inventory and shipments
• Complete and file all required documentation in a timely and organized manner
• Additional duties as assigned

• Forklift operation skills and the ability to pass the Forklift Operators License test
• Basic computer and scanner proficiency
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperatures ranging from 60--90F or more
• Flexibility to work overtime during peak production periods
