Job summary

RJ Schinner Co. is hiring for an Order Selector / Forklift Operator on 2nd shift in Atlanta, GA. You will receive and transport products, pick orders, and prepare shipments while ensuring accurate receipts and inventory control.

This full-time role offers a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm schedule, overtime, competitive base pay $18–$20 hourly, benefits including health/dental/vision, life and short-term disability, two weeks of PTO, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• 1 year of forklift experience and ability to follow safety protocols.
• High attention to detail and ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
• Comfortable with environment conditions (heat/cold; noise and dust).

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick and/or transport product throughout warehouse according to company standards.
• Stack, palletize, tote, and/or store product safely and efficiently.
• Maintain shipping, receiving and inventory records with proper documentation.
• Maintain organization and warehouse cleanliness and comply with safety protocols.

Order Selector / Forklift Operator Job Summary

Full-time | Monday-Friday | Second shift, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, or until completion. Overtime Available.

The Order Selector/Forklift Operator receives and transports products to appropriate locations. Picks products, assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Responsible for ensuring accurate receipt/shipment and appropriate handling of merchandise. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the redistribution field.

• Operate different types of forklifts including stand-up, and order picker
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and product movement
• Receive, pick and/or transport product throughout warehouse according to company standards
• Stack, palletize, tote, and/or store product in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain shipping, receiving and inventory records through proper documentation
• Maintain organization and warehouse cleanlinessResponsible for all warehouse safety protocols including, but not limited to utilizing PPE and performing safety checks on all powered equipment

Order Selector / Forklift Operator Qualifications

• 1-year previous warehouse experience
• 1-year previous forklift experience, and ability to follow all safety protocols
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. frequently
• Comfortable withexposure to environmental conditions (e.g., heat/cold; noise and dust)
• Comfortable with heights
