Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is hiring for a 2nd shift Order Selector at our Caledonia, WI facility. You will use ride-on pallet jacks and RF devices to pick orders, build secure pallets, and ensure product integrity for outbound shipments.

Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, follow GMP and safety protocols, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and development opportunities are provided as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Enter and exit equipment to select items and quantities from warehouse locations using RF devices.
• Complete outbound orders per shipping instructions, including proper pallet type and labeling.
• Palletize and secure products for transport with shrink wrap and pallet tags.
• Rotate inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Perform daily forklift inspection and report issues.

Ready to bring your best? **Shift 2:00PM to 10:00PM** **How you will make contributions that matter:*** Enters and exits equipment to manually select the correct items and correct quantity from warehouse pick locations using ride-on double pallet jacks and Radio Frequency devices, location barcodes, case labels and work orders.* Completes all outbound orders, including customer orders and intra company stock transfers, in accordance with outlined shipping instructions such as correct pallet type, slipsheet and temperature recording device usage, minimum shelf-life requirement, TixHi and item grouping.* Palletizes and builds stable and transport ready pallets of various dairy products, ensuring product integrity, accuracy and damage free order fulfillment.* Securely shrink wraps each pallet of product along with affixing proper pallet tags and/or placards.* Rotates inventory and maintains accurate inventories and required inventory records.* Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.* Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.* Promptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.* Attends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.* Other duties as assigned. **You are best suited for the role if you have...*** Are able to read and communicate effectively in English* Can work assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays* Have basic math knowledge* Have a demonstrated work history* Are able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment* Are able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds;* Able to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors* Able to operate material handling equipment **Position Abilities and Physical Requirements*** Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift.* Physical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift.* Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.* Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors.
