Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in South Austin is seeking a Merchandiser Lead to manage product displays, stock levels and store relationships across designated accounts. You will guide a team, optimize shelf placement and ensure brand standards are met.

The role requires 3+ years of general work experience, at least 1 year in a people-leading role, and a High School diploma or GED. You must have reliable transportation and be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to repetitively lift 50+ pounds; lift, bend and reach overhead.
• Prior sales/merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to use a personal vehicle during business hours.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

Job Location: South Austin, Texas

Workdays/Shift Hours: Tuesday-Saturday (Off Sunday/Monday), 6:00 am start time.

Additional Relevant Information: Must be 18+ years of age, must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and auto insurance. Lead, management, stocking, merchandising, grocery and delivery experience preferred.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges up to to $26.86 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

General Purpose

Responsible for replenishing, and merchandising products at all designated Large Store and similar accounts. Will function as an “acting supervisor” asneeded.Will motivate and inspire others within the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Designate location, build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards

Maintain appropriate product levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipment

Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts

Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up

Maintains professional, team relationship with co-workers, customers, and shoppers

Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and point of sale, ensuring account meets Company merchandising standards

Determine stores' product needs, place and transmit appropriate order in conjunction with existing geographic sales routes

Communicate account activities to appropriate parties

Maintain Merchandising standards while rotating products each time in designated accounts

Replace and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+year of general work experience required
• 1+ in a people leading role
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds; bend over, reach above head height, and kneeling.
• Previous sales/merchandising experience preferred
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to use a personal vehicle during business hours
• Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
