Qualifications

• Reads, understands, and relays written and verbal instructions.
• Operates hand and power tools as needed.
• Operates material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Verify customer and order information for correctness against records.
• Receive and respond to customer orders as required.
• Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders for processing.
• Recommend merchandise or services to meet customer needs.
• Inspect outgoing work for compliance with customer specifications.
• Check inventory system for availability of requested items.
• Notify departments when supplies are low or orders would deplete stock.
• File copies of orders or post orders on records as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to company policies and work requirements.
