Job summary

Prysmian in McKinney, TX is seeking a full-time Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator to support our production floor. You will move and stack pallets, perform pre-and post-shift inspections, and comply with OSHA safety policies while maintaining reliable attendance.

The role requires 1 year of stand-up reach forklift experience, the ability to pass a forklift exam and onsite drug screen, and the stamina for a 6 PM to 6 AM schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Stand‑up Reach Forklift experience required.
• Must be able to safely move full and empty pallets with forklift in working area.
• Identify when required routine maintenance may be needed.
• Reli​able Attendance.

Responsibilities

• Able to operate a stand‑up reach forklift.
• Moves or stacks different products or materials to specified locations in a safe manner.
• Performs routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature or forklift equipment.
• Stacks empty pallets, reels, etc.
• Complies with safety policies, practices and procedures according to OSHA.
• Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or safety team.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Essential functions and responsibilities will also include following supervisor’s directions and the additional requirements of the various jobs assigned.

Starting Pay

• $20 Hour.
• $2 Shift Premium.

• 6PM - 6AM.
• Overtime opportunities available. Time and a half!

• Experience moving large loads.
• Reliable Attendance.

Work Environment & Physical Responsibilities

• Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures.
• Some duties may be required to be performed outside.
• Comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching and stooping.
• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing.
