Job summary

Premium Guard, Inc. is seeking an Order Puller to fill customer orders using pick lists and prepare them for shipment. You will work under supervision, receive daily instructions, and ensure accuracy while staging orders with basic handling equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse is required. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and good reading, math and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse experience preferred; basic computer skills.
• Strong reading and math abilities.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Move and lift up to 50 lbs in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Stand, lift, bend and move heavy packages for up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders using a pick list and prepare orders for shipment.

Order Puller

The Order Puller is responsible for filling customer orders using a pick list and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Works under the close supervision of supervisor and team leader.


• Receives daily work instructions and work assignments from team leaders.


• Utilizes the pick ticket process to obtain product from location and ensures completeness and correctness of all orders filled.


• Operates handling equipment to properly stage completed orders.


• Packs warehouse orders as necessary


• Must meet daily productivity and quality standards set for order process roles


• Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).


• Previous warehouse experience preferred and basic computer skills.


• Good communication including basic reading and math skills.


• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.


• Must be able to move, lift and transport products up to 50lbs in a non- climate-controlled warehouse.


• Standing, lifting, bending and moving heavy packages for extended periods of time up to 10-hour shifts.
