Job summary

GNC is seeking an Order Processor I to manage the accurate selection and packaging of retail and e-commerce orders in a distribution center. You will use Red Prairie WMS and RF scanning to track inventory, stock lanes, and ensure proper paperwork and labels accompany every shipment.

You’ll perform safe warehouse tasks, learn systems quickly, and support a diverse team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and meeting productivity standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Ability to complete in-house training and learn Red Prairie WMS.
• Read, write and understand English well for instructions.
• Capable of basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
• Must be motivated, accurate, and able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently select and package orders for retail and e-commerce.
• Become proficient with Red Prairie WMS for order tracking and inventory management.
• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, unloading, sorting, and moving items.
• Ensure correct shipping labels and packing slips accompany each package.
• Read orders, locate items with scanners, and pick correct quantities.
• Stock inventory in lanes and replenish as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Document damages and ensure proper accounting.
• Operate RF equipment for inventory and order picking and report discrepancies.

What You'll Do

This is a Hourly Position

As an Order Processor I, you are responsible for the accurately and efficiently selecting and packaging retail and e-commerce orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and within the required time frame.

• Become proficient with Red Prairie Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for order tracking and inventory management.
• Perform general physical activities in a warehouse, including loading, unloading, selecting, sorting, and moving products and materials manually.
• Ensure each package has the correct shipping label and accompanying paperwork (e.g., packing slips).
• Read customer orders, locate items on warehouse shelves using scanners or picking lists, and select the correct quantity of products.
• Stock inventory into picking lanes and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area free from debris and follow all safety protocols.
• Accurately document damages and ensure proper accounting.
• Operate RF equipment for inventory management and order picking.
• Report any inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule

• Regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, and various movements such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, along with talking and hearing.
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Repetitively maneuvering and handling of product up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements: Requires close, distance, and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, electrical shock risks, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Work environment typically has low to moderate noise levels.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties.
• Ability to complete the required in-house training program.
• Ability to become proficient in Red Prairie WMS.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English sufficiently to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform job duties safely and accurately.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
• Self-motivated with a strong focus on accuracy, deadlines, and reporting.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
