Job summary

Laser North in Hayti, SD is seeking an Order Processing Technician to join a fast-paced fabrication team. You will coordinate processing stages to ensure quality and on-time deliveries, reading prints, staging parts, and supporting assembly and loading activities.

We value self-motivation, strong attention to detail, and safety. Prior manufacturing exposure is preferred but not required; candidates must have reliable transportation and willingness to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow with departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Handle and sort parts for processing.
• Read and interpret prints/instructions.
• Stage parts for specific processes and count/tag components.
• Operate forklift for materials handling.
• Support production assembly and pallet/crate setup.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and occasional deliveries.
• Provide daily updates and communicate with management.

What You Will Do:

The key role of the order processing technician is to coordinate all processing stages to achieve quality and timely deliveries to our customers. This Includes:

• Strategizing and coordinating workflow with departments.
• Parts handling and sorting.
• Reading and interpreting prints and instructions.
• Staging parts for specific processes.
• Counting and tagging parts.
• Forklift materials handling.
• Production assembly.
• Pallet and crate assembly.
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Occasional delivery runs.
• Daily updates and communication with management.

• Previous manufacturing or related experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and understand prints or instructions.
• Possess a strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
