Job summary

Kamatics is seeking an Order Process Technician in Bloomfield, CT to ensure accurate order preparation and processing to meet customer and production needs. You will create shop orders, maintain structures, routings, and material plans while coordinating purchases and outside processes.

The role supports Production and Manufacturing Engineering, emphasizes attention to detail, and contributes to safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to create and maintain manufacturing documentation.
• Organize and prioritize work to support production schedules.
• CAD experience or familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise shop orders, ensuring information is accurate and meets requirements.
• Create and maintain product structures, routings, and material plans.
• Plan materials to support production schedules.
• Purchase required materials and coordinate outside processing.
• Maintain the label database and ensure information remains current.
• Perform limited CAD edits to support drawings and production needs.
• Support Production and Manufacturing Engineering as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and quality.
• Participate in 5S and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and report incidents.
