Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Order Picker to join our team in Port Deposit, MD. The ideal candidate will safely operate an electric order picker at elevations up to 30+ feet in narrow-aisle racking, hand-picking items with an RF scanner or pick tickets.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision), and multiple shifts in Port Deposit, MD.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience operating an order picker or reach truck.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 30+ feet with a safety harness.
• Able to pass a 7-year background check.
• Able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs on 10–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver and operate an electric order picker (cherry picker) through narrow warehouse aisles.
• Elevate with the operator platform up to 30+ feet to hand-pick items using an RF scanner or pick tickets.
• Wear and inspect fall protection gear, including an OSHA-compliant harness and lanyard tethered to overhead anchors.
• Conduct daily pre-trip equipment inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Accurately stage picked merchandise onto pallets or carts and transport to packing and outbound staging areas.
• Maintain clean, obstruction-free aisles and follow safety guidelines.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ORDER PICKER IN PORT DEPOSIT, MARYLAND

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Order Picker to join our team in Port Deposit, MD. This individual will be responsible for operating an electric order picker (cherry picker lift truck) at elevated heights in narrow-aisle racking to pick, stage, and move inventory efficiently throughout the distribution center.The ideal candidate will safely operate heavy machinery, and is comfortable working at heights.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $19.50 – $22/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Full-time, multiple shifts available
• Located in Port Deposit, MD

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver and operate an electric order picker (cherry picker) through narrow warehouse aisles
• Elevate with the operator platform up to 30+ feet to hand-pick single items and case quantities using an RF scanner or pick tickets
• Wear and inspect fall protection gear, including an OSHA-compliant full-body harness and lanyard tethered to overhead anchor points at all times while elevated
• Conduct daily pre-trip equipment inspections (brakes, steering, horn, lift mechanisms, safety tether, and dead-man switches) and report mechanical defects
• Accurately stage picked merchandise onto pallets or carts and transport to packing and outbound staging areas
• Maintain clean, obstruction-free aisles and adhere to all facility safety and operational guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of six or more months of experience operating an order picker (cherry picker) or reach truck in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 30+ feet while tethered to a safety harness
• Must be able to successfully pass a 7-year background check
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a 10- to 12-hour shift
• Punctual, strong attendance record, and dependable transportation to Port Deposit, MD
