Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking an Order Picker to support our 1st shift operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate a sit-down forklift, receive shipments, and assemble orders for delivery with accuracy and attention to safety.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, labeling, and stacking items while adhering to customer requirements and quality standards. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work a full shift in a labor-intensive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with sit-down forklift operation is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and packing specs.
• Demonstrated physical stamina and manual dexterity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and store materials.
• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against records.
• Load and unload shipments in delivery trucks and prepare orders for shipment.
• Label, stockpile, and pack shipments according to size and type.
• Record and report any damaged items and complete required paperwork.
• Perform routine quality checks and follow safety procedures.

Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between21.00 to21.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases.
