Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring an Order Builder in Spokane to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment and full store readiness. You will build loads, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and use voice-picking software in a fast-paced warehouse.

Strong teamwork and the ability to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance are required. Training and safety compliance are emphasized, with opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Able to obtain pallet jack certification within one month.

Responsibilities

• Build delivery loads onto pallets to fulfill customer orders.
• Operate voice-picking software and material handling equipment.
• Stage pallets in designated shipping areas and ensure order accuracy.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
• Restock picking areas and support special projects as assigned.
• Attend meetings and complete required trainings.

What does an Order Builder do at Swire Coca-Cola?

As a member of our Warehouse team, you will help ensure that our customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so that their stores are always fully stocked with our great-tasting products. You will be responsible for building delivery loads with a variety of products onto pallets to fill customer orders in preparation of shipment and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This work is completed in a fast-paced warehouse environment using powered industrial trucks while adhering to warehouse safety standards at all times.

• Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallet(s)
• Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before being loaded into the truck for delivery
• Stage completed pallets in designated shipping area(s)
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
• Complete training requirements
• Restock product in picking areas as needed
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Prior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferred
• Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire date
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive

Base pay rate is $22.99 per hour plus bonus structure (dependent on role) . Pay offered will depend on candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.

Employees and families offered Medical, Dental, Vision; union pension with employer contributions; Sick pay awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours work, annually 8 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday; 40hrs of vacation pro-rated in first year (3-1/3 hours per remaining full month in current calendar year); Eligible for paid Bereavement and Jury Duty.
