Breeden's Orchard is seeking enthusiastic and versatile part-time Orchard & Guest Associates to join our farm team. You will welcome families, guide guests through activities, and help in the farm retail shop with friendly service.

The roles are seasonal with flexible scheduling options for stay-at-home parents and 3X12 shift workers, with duties across market, operations, and hospitality on a busy farm environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering hospitality.
• Comfort working outdoors and with families on a farm.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist guests upon arrival and provide information about farm activities.
• Oversee peach picking and agricultural areas, explaining techniques and guidelines.
• Engage with visitors in the activity yard and assist with farm-themed activities.
• Staff the farmers market and farm retail shop and help customers choose items.
• Handle sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in all customer areas.
• Restock and organize inventory including produce and retail items.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer guest questions.
• Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 40 pounds and walking outdoors.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate footwear, sunscreen, and bug spray.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive atmosphere.

We are seeking enthusiastic and versatile part-time general and seasonal Orchard & Guest Associates to join our dynamic team. Farm Associates play an active role on the farm including welcoming families to the property, interacting with guests as they explore the orchard, and providing memorable hospitality to all of our guests. Ideal candidates will possess a variety of skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Note: Part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling options to accommodate stay-at-home parents and 3X12 shift workers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, provide information about farm activities.
• Oversee peach picking and agricultural areas, ensuring guests understand picking techniques and orchard guidelines.
• Engage with visitors in the activity yard, assisting with farm-themed games, educational stations, and seasonal activities.
• Staff the farmer's market and farm retail shop, helping customers select fresh produce, baked goods, coffee, and gifts.
• Handle sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in all customer areas.
• Restock and organize inventory, including produce, farm products, and retail items.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and enhancing the overall farm experience.
• Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 40 pounds and walking across farm terrain.
• Adhere to safety and health guidelines, including wearing appropriate footwear, sunscreen, and bug spray.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on a farm, in a market, or in a hospitality service role.
• Passion for farming, local food, and hospitality.
• Experience working with students in school settings.
• POS system experience.

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during non-peak seasons.
• Seasonal position (fall and select spring/summer events).
