Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an Orbital Warfare Specialist to support the 57th Space Aggressor Squadron at Schriever SFB CO for mission planning, system support, education, and training of Space Aggressors.

We require 4 years of OW experience, expert orbital mechanics knowledge, and TS/SCI eligibility. The role includes updating courseware, conducting RPO planning instruction, and contributing to simulation-based training environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of additional experience may be substituted for education requirement.
• 4 years of experience with orbital warfare (orbital analysis or RPO).
• Expert knowledge in orbital mechanics relevant to OW.
• Knowledge of OW mission systems including ASAT weapons.
• Knowledge of RPO planning, SOSI deconfliction and ASAT launch planning.
• Experience with planning, briefing, or executing Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) assets to achieve mission objectives.
• Proficient with STK software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and maintain orbital warfare courseware and curriculum.

• Plan maneuvers using STK or similar RPO planning tools.

• Develop and maintain OW training products and simulation environments based on intelligence assessments.

General Duties

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an Orbital Warfare (OW) Specialist to provide OW support at the 57th Space Aggressor Squadron (SAS), Schriever SFB CO for mission planning, system support, education, and training of Space Aggressors.

Specific Duties

• Review, update, and maintain orbital warfare courseware and curriculum
• Provide instruction on Rendezvous Proximity Operations (RPO) mission planning and Space Battle Management and replicating adversary tactics
• Plan maneuvers using Systems Took Kit (STK) or similar RPO planning tools
• Support the development of an adversary Offensive Space Control (OSC) employment plan for implementation in a simulation environment
• Attain and maintain certification as an OW operator and instructor
• Provide instruction on OW operator lessons and other material as directed by 57 SAS
• Conduct research and analysis into future OW suites and provide recommendations using a cost benefit analysis approach.
• Provide support in developing and maintaining OW aggressor training, products, capabilities, and simulation environments based on latest intelligence assessments of adversary capabilities

Work Location / Travel

This role will require occasional travel (10% of workload).

Experience and Skills

• 4 years of experience with orbital warfare (orbital analysis or RPO)
• Possess expert knowledge in orbital mechanics and science relevant to OW
• Possess knowledge of OW mission systems to include Anti-Satellite (ASAT) weapons
• Possess knowledge of RPO planning, Space Object Surveillance Identification (SOSI) deconfliction and ASAT launch planning
• Experience with planning, briefing, or executing Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) assets to achieve mission objectives
• Proficient with Systems Tool Kit (STK) software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required

Education and Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 6 years of additional experience may be substituted for education requirement

Salary Range: $120K-$145K Depending on Qualifications
