Job summary

WIKA Group in Georgia, USA, is seeking a dependable welder to join our production team. You will select fixtures, apply heat to create true, warp-free joints, and adjust equipment for material variations while adhering to safety guidelines to prevent fire or flash exposures.

You will contribute to meeting the production schedule, assist in manufacturing systems in the UHP area, and help train new welders. High school diploma or GED is required; prior manufacturing experience is welcome but not

Responsibilities

• Selects proper fixtures and parts in accordance with Standard Order requirements.
• Allows for the effect of heat to produce true, warp and leak-free joints.
• Performs basic equipment adjustments based on material variations.
• Takes necessary precautions to eliminate the possibilities of fire or “flash” exposure to others in the area.
• Keeps up with the production schedule
• Assists in the manufacturing of systems in the UHP area
• Assists with training of new welders
• Performs ancillary duties as needed
