Job summary

Digantara US in Denver seeks a Data Science Engineer to develop ML components and integration infrastructure for SDA analytics pipelines. You will build trajectory-classification and anomaly-detection models using orbit-determination outputs and maintain benchmarking frameworks under sparse, gapped data.

Collaborate with astrodynamics and embedded-systems staff to ensure models reflect genuine dynamical structure, meet onboard constraints, and provide calibrated confidence metrics for operators.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of applied ML experience in a technical field.
  • Strong Python and scientific stack proficiency.
  • Experience with time-series or state-estimation data.
  • Ability to work with onboard/resource-constrained deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AI/ML models for trajectory classification and anomaly detection.
  • Integrate end-to-end analytic pipelines for observation processing and classification.
  • Build benchmarking and evaluation frameworks for model performance.
  • Collaborate with embedded-systems staff on constraints and deployment.
  • Produce calibrated confidence metrics for operator use.
