Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant to support clinical teams across multiple offices. Travel to nearby locations will be required to assist with patient care and procedures.

The role entails taking X-rays, setting up operatory, maintaining infection control, and assisting with a variety of treatments. You will educate patients and contribute to a collaborative office environment at Aspen Dental.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control – sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
