Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant in Mays Landing, New Jersey. You will support the clinical needs of the practice and doctors, travel to nearby offices as needed, and assist during multiple treatment procedures.

The role requires an active license and x-ray certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and a commitment to ongoing learning. Flexible scheduling and a supportive, growth-oriented culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel between nearby Aspen Dental locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
