Job summary

Leading Edge Oral Surgery is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to join our Woodbury, NY practice. You will welcome patients, support the Oral Surgeon with procedures, and perform digital radiography, CBCT, and intra-oral scans as prescribed.

We emphasize strong patient experiences, strict infection control, and a collaborative team culture in a modern facility with advanced technology.

Qualifications

• Certification/license as required by state to perform duties.
• Resume showing stable employment history.
• Strong communication and commitment to patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and make them feel comfortable.
• Assist the Oral Surgeon with procedures.
• Take digital radiographs, CBCT and intra-oral scans as prescribed
• Maintain strict infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Prepare operatories and sanitize for treatments
• Follow OSHA and safety policies to ensure a safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene as needed
• Support diverse office tasks to keep operations smooth
