Bowmanpadgett seeks an experienced Dental Assistant with a passion for oral surgery to join our team. You will be hands-on with chair-side support, instrument handling, and patient education in a fast-paced dental practice.

The role requires X-ray certification, CPR, and preferably two years of experience in oral surgery. You will assist with IV sedation and a range of clinical and administrative duties, contributing to an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification is required.
• Oral surgery experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist dentists with oral surgery procedures and provide chair-side support.
• Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and hand instruments to the dentist.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization of all instruments and equipment.
• Manage operatory supplies and assist with inventory control.
• Perform lab tasks such as pouring impressions, trimming models, and fabricating appliances.
• Provide patient education including post-op care and informed consent.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with administrative staff.
• Assist with IV sedation and other advanced procedures as needed.
