• Assists in oral surgery and other procedures under direct supervision of a dentist.
• Prepares and arranges tools and instruments for procedures and hands them to the dentist.
• Records findings, changes barriers, and sterilizes equipment.
• Screens patients for dental ailments and explains procedures to patients.
• Sets up for procedures and maintains patient dental records.
• Maintains inventory and ensures supplies are available.
