NorthShore Center for Oral & Facial Surgery in Illinois is seeking a capable dental assistant to support our Oral Surgeon with a variety of clinical duties and to help provide an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include room setup and turnover, assisting during procedures, sterilizing equipment per OSHA/CDC standards, taking and scanning films, and maintaining CPR certification. Join a team that values growth and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Assist Oral Surgeon during treatment procedures.
• Maintain CPR Certification.
• Set up rooms for operative procedures.
• Sterilize operatory and instrumentation following OSHA/CDC standards.
• Seat patients and assist with intake and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up rooms for all operative procedures.
• Turn over room in efficient manner.
• Seat patients and assist with intake and documentation, including medical history and consent forms.
• Stock/restock room with instruments prior to each procedure.
• After each patient, sterilize operatory and instrumentation according to OSHA / CDC standards.
• Be aware of schedule changes, and other procedures progress in order to prioritize actions.
• Utilize office equipment by taking and scanning films.
• Assist Oral Surgeon during treatment procedures.
• Maintain CPR Certification.
