Job summary

Global Logistics Recruiting seeks a compassionate Oral Surgery Assistant to join our oral and maxillofacial team. You will support patient care before, during, and after procedures in a fast-paced clinic, ensuring safety, efficiency, and dignity.

The role involves preparing rooms, assisting surgeons, handling sterilization and imaging, managing patient flow, documenting care, and upholding infection-control and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred (1+ year).
• Experience in oral surgery or oral and maxillofacial surgery preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within required timeframe.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with demanding clinical duties.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations, consultations, and surgical procedures.
• Review and document patient medical and dental histories.
• Obtain and record vital signs as directed.
• Explain routine pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Assist during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, surgical trays, instruments, and equipment.
• Maintain infection-control procedures and sterilize instruments.
