Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces is seeking an Oral Surgeon for Desert Sky location in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on full-scope OMFS with IV/conscious sedation, implants, and complex extractions.

The surgeon will operate in a high-volume setting with no buy-in, benefiting from a stable patient flow and a supportive team. Schedule is 12–16 days per month, with flexible rhythm to fit other commitments.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD with OMFS residency.
• GPR/AEGD residency or documented chairside surgical volume (extractions, bone grafting, implant placement).
• Active Arizona dental license or eligible and willing to obtain.
• Current DEA registration and Arizona sedation permit (or pursuing).
• Comfortable running a busy surgical schedule and leading a chairside team.
• Patient-first mindset and serving diverse, underserved community.

Responsibilities

• IV sedation and conscious sedation cases.
• Surgical extractions, including impacted third molars.
• Implants placement and related procedures.
• Complex extractions, alveoloplasty, and pre-prosthetic surgery.
• Pathology, biopsies, and broader OMFS scope in outpatient setting.
