Plymouth Meeting Family Dental in East Norriton, PA, seeks an Oral Surgeon for a part-time role (Mondays or Fridays). You will diagnose, plan, and perform surgical procedures with full clinical autonomy while collaborating with a skilled on-site team and Heartland Dental resources.

The position emphasizes comprehensive patient care, adherence to safety, and ongoing professional development within a supportive network. Prior OMFS residency and active license are required.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency (4–6 years).
• Active/unrestricted dental license and ability to administer local or general anesthesia.
• Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Willingness to credential with various dental insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.
• Perform surgical procedures including extractions, impacted third molars, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery treatments.
• Develop and present comprehensive treatment plans for surgical cases.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on procedures, options, and post-operative care; adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Education

What we're looking for:

Requirements:

• * D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school
• * Completion of a 4- 6 year CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
• * Active and unrestricted dental license as well as administer local or general anesthesia
• * Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• * Ability and willingness to become credentialed with various dental insurance plans, ensuring seamless and comprehensive coverage for our patients.
