Job summary

SimpTemp Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Oral Surgeon to join our Victoria, United States team. The role involves delivering comprehensive surgical care for the maxillofacial region and collaborating with other dental professionals to plan and execute treatment plans.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited oral surgery education, a current license (DDS/DMD with MD if applicable), and BLS/ACLS certifications, with at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Accredited Oral Surgery program completed.
  • DDS or DMD with current state license required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in oral surgery.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer general and local anesthetics and sedatives to manage pain.
  • Collaborate with restorative dentists and orthodontists to plan treatment.
  • Analyze patient data to determine needs and goals.
  • Perform surgery to prepare mouth for implants and bone/gum regeneration.
  • Operate to treat conditions; remove impacted or non-restorable teeth.
  • Provide emergency treatment for facial injuries and oral infections.
  • Reconstruct jaws and facial tissues to restore form and function.

  • Meet the professional, ethical, and moral standards of the American Dental Association.
  • Administer general and local anesthetics. Administer anesthetics or sedatives to control pain.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as restorative dentists and orthodontists, to plan treatment. Collaborate with health care professionals to plan or provide treatment.
  • Analyze patient data to determine patient needs or treatment goals.
  • Perform surgery to prepare the mouth for dental implants, and to aid in the regeneration of deficient bone and gum tissues.
  • Operate on patients to treat conditions. Remove impacted, damaged, and non-restorable teeth. Treat dental problems or diseases. Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaws, and neck. Treat acute illnesses, infections, or injuries. Remove tumors and other abnormal growths of the oral and facial regions, using surgical instruments. Operate on patients to treat conditions.
  • Provide emergency treatment of facial injuries including facial lacerations, intra-oral lacerations, and fractured facial bones.
  • Treat medical emergencies. Treat problems affecting the oral mucosa, such as mouth ulcers and infections. Treat acute illnesses, infections, or injuries.
  • Restore form and function by moving skin, bone, nerves, and other tissues from other parts of the body to reconstruct the jaws and face. Operate on patients to treat conditions. Perform surgery on the mouth and jaws to treat conditions such as cleft lip and palate and jaw growth problems

We are growing and looking for a full- time Oral Surgeon with BUY-IN (EQUITY) OPPORTUNITY. Doctor would provide surgical care and related procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillo-facial regions to treat diseases, injuries, or defects. May diagnose problems of the oral and maxillo-facial regions. May perform surgery to improve function or appearance.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of accredited Oral Surgery program.
  • D.D.S. or D.M.D, M.D with a current State license.
  • Minimum of two years of experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certified.
