Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant to support clinicians across multiple offices. You will travel to nearby Aspen Dental offices to assist with various procedures, take X-rays, and prepare operatory spaces while maintaining infection control standards.

This role demands strong patient communication and a commitment to patient education. As part of a team, you will conduct office tasks as needed and collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• License/permit required by state; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
