Job summary

Truepear Dental in Tinley Park, IL is seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (or Prosthodontist with surgical training) for a part-time role (1 day per week) as a 1099 independent contractor. You will serve as the practice's dedicated oral surgery specialist with autonomy and a steady, well-referred caseload.

Responsibilities include extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implant placement, IV sedation/general anesthesia. Orthognathic and facial trauma are not required for this position.

Qualifications

• DMD/DDS with completed OMS residency (or Prosthodontics residency with relevant surgical training).
• Valid Illinois license (or eligible to obtain one).
• Comfortable working solo with a supportive, established team.
• Strong chairside manner and commitment to patient care.

Truepear is partnering with North Creek Dental Care, a well‑established solo practice in Tinley Park, IL, to find an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join their team on a part‑time basis (1 day/week), replacing their current specialist who is departing to start their own practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon looking for a steady, well‑referred caseload with genuine autonomy and flexibility. A qualified Prosthodontist with relevant surgical experience may also be considered for this role.

About The Opportunity

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Approximately 1 day per week, with flexibility to grow based on demand
• Solo‑handled scope of care — you'll be the practice's dedicated oral surgery specialist
• Steady, established referral base: 4 active referring GPs generating roughly 20 surgical cases per month
• 100% referred‑in caseload (no walk‑in reliance)
• Fee‑for‑service practice — no PPO/insurance mix to navigate
• Surgical operatory and sedation setup already in place

Compensation

• 40% of adjusted production
