Oral Surgeon role at Nuvia Dental Implant Center

Overview

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our traveling regional team. We leverage cutting-edge technology and processes to deliver permanent teeth in 24 hours. You will be a traveling PRN surgeon for central US locations. Travel and licensing costs are covered by Nuvia. This is a 1099 contractor/part-time position with flexible days and no non-compete.

Responsibilities
  • Perform dental implant surgery including extractions and alveolectomy as needed
  • Collaborate with the restorative doctor for treatment planning and optimal outcomes
  • Assess patients, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Maintain alignment with Center policies, safety guidelines, OSHA, and MSDS
  • Provide day-after permanent prostheses delivered by on-site restorative doctors
  • Prepare comprehensive surgical notes and participate in team case reviews
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a U.S. accredited four-year dental school (DDS/DMD) required
  • Post-graduate U.S. surgical program with certificate to practice Oral Surgery
  • Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the assigned region, or ability to apply
  • DEA registration
  • Current CPR (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
  • Experience with All-on-X procedure
Duties
  • Examine, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for patients
  • Work with the restorative team to ensure cohesive case planning
  • Align with Center policies and safety standards
Schedule & Compensation
  • Typical hours: Monday–Thursday, starting at 7:00 am; open to 1–4 days per week depending on need
  • Compensation: $4,000–$12,000 per day depending on volume
