Job summary

Gentle Dental of Peabody is seeking an Oral Surgeon who is board eligible or board certified to join our multispecialty team in Peabody, MA. Facilities accommodate anesthesia; role can be full-time or per diem with a daily rate of $1,200–$1,700 plus collections.

In this practice, you will diagnose, educate, review treatment options, maintain records, interpret x-rays, and perform implant and other complex oral surgeries with sedation.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
• Implant placement and sedation procedures in multispecialty group.

We are currently looking for an Oral Surgeon who is board eligible or board certified. Facilities are equipped and permitted for anesthesia (permit D). This can be a full-time career track or a great way to supplement downtime in your practice. Part Time providers are provided a per diem of $1,200 - $1,700 plus per day or % of collections. Our full-time surgeons earn over $500,000 annually, and a minimum of $350,000 will be guaranteed for full-time employment.

• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development
• Implant placement and surgical procedures involving sedation in our growing multispecialty group practices

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Board eligible or board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
