Job summary

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Provost Office: College of Dentistry, invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Preventive Sciences, Division of Oral Diagnosis & Radiology. The successful candidate will teach didactic and clinical courses in Oral Medicine and Oral Diagnosis for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD or equivalent degree required.
• CODA-accredited Oral Medicine residency preferred.
• Oklahoma dental license or licensure eligibility required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of oral medicine, clinical instruction, and modern dentistry practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote evidence-based didactic and clinical learning.
• Lead course development, curriculum planning, mapping, and scheduling.
• Prepare and update course materials.
• Develop and manage the Oral Medicine curriculum to meet accreditation standards.
• Supervise clinical student procedures and patient care.
• Mentor students and faculty in research projects and presentations.
• Stay updated on trends in dentistry and integrate them into teaching.
