Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program.
  • Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
  • Eligibility for Pennsylvania dental licensure.
  • Ability to obtain federal and state narcotics certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of OMS conditions, including extractions, trauma, sleep surgery, TMJ, oral rehabilitation, and implants.
  • Collaborate with dental specialists, physicians and surgeons, and support staff to deliver hospital-based care.
  • Engage in education of students, residents, and fellows.
  • Access robust research resources to advance academic and clinical innovation.

The Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking an exceptionalOral & Maxillofacial Surgeonto join our vibrant and growing team.

  • Provide comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions, including extractions, trauma, sleep surgery, TMJ, oral rehabilitation, and implant-based reconstruction.
  • Collaborate closely with dental specialists, physicians and surgeons across disciplines, and dedicated support staff to deliver outstanding hospital-based care.
  • Engage actively in the education of students, residents, and fellows.
  • Access robust research resources and support to advance academic and clinical innovation.
  • Help shape the future of patient care while supporting our mission to improve the health and well-being of our communities.
  • Academic appointment available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
