Carle Health in Champaign‑Urbana, Illinois is seeking an additional BE/BC Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our hospital-based OMFS practice.

This academic, private-practice‑with‑university affiliation role includes teaching residents, a robust subspecialty development track, and a 1:4 call schedule. Facilities include Carle Foundation Hospital and a new ambulatory center.

Qualifications

• Completion of Head & Neck Oncology fellowship required.
• Interest in resident education and teaching in a residency program.
• Ability to collaborate in a hospital-based OMFS practice with academic components.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope OMFS care within a hospital-based practice.
• Teach and supervise residents in the Carle Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program.
• Participate in academic activities and potential research opportunities with Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
• Share in facial trauma call obligations (1:4) and contribute to program growth.

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our established OMFS practice in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

Practice Opportunity Details Include:

• Join a growing, full-scope hospital-based OMFS practice that includes three BC Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Two have additional fellowship training (Maxillofacial Oncology/Microvascular Surgery and Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery)
• Completion of a Head & Neck Oncology fellowship required
• Call is 1:4 - OMFS surgeons cover all facial trauma cases out of a single hospital
• We are open to non-traditional scheduling options
• Block OR and clinic time at Carle Foundation Hospital as well as our new, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center and outpatient clinic facilities
• Private practice model with academic component - serving as faculty member for fully accredited Carle Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program
• Interest in resident education is a must
