Job summary

Falcon Smart IT seeks an Oracle WebCenter Content Developer III for a contract position in Houston, onsite. You will provide technical development and support for Oracle WebCenter Content 12c and related WFR/Capture components, collaborating with a large Oracle support team.

The role requires strong ECM knowledge, SQL and Oracle database skills, and experience migrating content. You will work with business users and follow change management and SOX controls as applicable.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with configurations and customizations to Oracle WebCenter Content 12c including RIDC.
• 2-3 years of experience with WebCenter Forms Recognition and Capture 12c.
• Strong understanding of ECM processes: taxonomy, records management, metadata, workflows, search, and security.
• Experience migrating content from legacy repositories to Oracle WebCenter Content.
• Experience in SQL and Oracle database.

Job Title: Oracle WebCenter Content Developer III

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Contractor for Oracle Web Center Content, Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).

This person will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide technical support for developing and supporting content management applications. This position will support our business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.

Responsibilities include:

• ? Provides technical development and support for the existing Oracle WebCenter Content 12c (UCM/Stellent).
• ? Provides technical development and support for Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
• ? Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create specification documents that meet business needs.
• ? Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
• ? Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle (when applicable).
• ? Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business solutions.
• ? Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• ? Required: 5 years of experience with configurations and customizations to Oracle WebCenter Content 12c (Formally Stellent/UCM) including RIDC.
• ? Required: 2-3 years of experience with WebCenter Forms recognition and Capture 12c.
• ? Required: Strong understanding of the overall Enterprise Content Management (ECM) processes and concepts including taxonomies, records management, metadata, workflows, search, and security is required.
• ? Required: Experience with migrating content from legacy data repositories to Oracle WebCenter Content.
• ? Required: Experience in SQL and good understanding of Oracle database.
• ? Desired: Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JSP, React.
• ? Desired: Experience with Elasticsearch.
• ? Desired: Experience with integrating Oracle WebCenter Content with business applications
• ? Desired: System administration experience with building and maintaining environments on Linux

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

• Work with IT and Business teams on day-to-day support activities and ticket resolution.
• Perform batch file loads and updates in Oracle WebCenter Content.
• Create and maintain profiles, metadata configurations, and rules in Oracle WebCenter Content.
• Assist in improving support processes for ECM and related applications.
• Support AP users with invoice-related issues in WFR and Capture.
• Participate in monthly maintenance activities for ECM and related applications.

Notes:

• High potential to extend.
• We are currently upgrading the Oracle WebCenter Content suite of applications to version 14c.
• This position serves as a backfill resource to support the existing 12c environment while also assisting with 14c upgrade activities as needed.
