Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a hands-on leader to own and optimize an Oracle Fusion-based financial platform in a hybrid Dallas, TX setting. You will drive integration, data integrity, and post-go-live improvements while coordinating with IT, Finance, and external service partners.

You will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions, maintain system health, and guide the technical roadmap for ongoing enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Fusion support, enhancement, and optimization initiatives.
• Maintain standards across Oracle Fusion ERP and financial modules with a focus on core Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Serve as liaison between IT, Finance, business stakeholders, vendors, and managed service partners.
• Lead post-implementation enhancement projects and ensure milestones and quality standards.
• Oversee Oracle Integration Cloud and VBCS developments; monitor performance and security.
• Establish incident management, escalation procedures, and service governance.

Vendor & Managed Services Management

This role is hybrid in the Dallas, TX area. Candidates who are not local or cannot work hybrid in the client office will not be considered

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Leadership

Lead Oracle Fusion support, enhancement, and optimization initiatives.

Maintain standards across Oracle Fusion ERP and associated financial applications, with a primary focus on the core ORacle Cloud Financial Modules

Serve as the key liaison between IT, Finance, business stakeholders, vendors, and managed service partners.

Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives and financial processes.

Post-Go-Live Execution & Enhancement

Lead post-implementation enhancement projects, ensuring that milestones, timelines, and quality standards are achieved for all system improvements.

Partner with internal teams and managed service providers to validate and deploy enhancements to existing integrations and applications.

Ensure the continued accuracy and integrity of data and the alignment of business processes with the Oracle Cloud system

Support ongoing user adoption and readiness efforts by providing training and support for new features and functionality

Technical Development & System Operations

Lead the support and enhancement of existing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions.

Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications built in Oracle VBCS

Utilize Oracle Fusion REST and SOAP APIs to integrate enterprise systems.

Monitor integration performance, custom objects, and system stability.

Manage user access, security, permissions, and SaaS/PaaS environments.

Oversee environment configurations, performance optimization, and refresh activities.

Post-Go-Live Support & Continuous Improvement

Lead post-implementation stabilization efforts and operational support.

Establish incident management, escalation procedures, and service governance.

Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure SLA compliance.

Drive ongoing platform enhancements based on business needs and user feedback.

Vendor & Managed Services Management

Manage strategic relationships with Oracle support partners and service providers.

Define and monitor KPIs for operational performance and service quality.

Oversee vendor contracts, budgets, and performance management activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

Lead training, communication, and adoption initiatives across business functions.

Partner closely with Finance leadership, accounting teams, and executive stakeholders.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve business processes, workflows, and system utilization.

You'll be the go-to expert for all things Oracle Fusion and integrations, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support to ensure the stability and success of the platform. What You'll Do

Be the "boots on the ground" for the Oracle ecosystem. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day health of the platform, from troubleshooting integration issues to enhancing VBCS forms. You're not just a manager; you're a doer who isn't afraid to get your hands dirty to solve a problem.

Bridge the gap between business and technology. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. You're a "techno-functional" expert who can speak both languages fluently.

Own the technical roadmap. You'll provide strategic direction for the Oracle platform, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous innovation. You'll have a seat at the table, helping to shape the long-term vision for the company's financial systems
