Job summary

GCI is seeking an Oracle Systems Engineer SME (TS/SCI with Poly Required) for an on-site role in McLean, VA. A US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance is required.

The engineer will administer Oracle Linux systems and Exadata, manage Oracle databases, and support secure, mission-critical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated experience as an Oracle LINUX Systems Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience in Oracle EXADATA administration.
• Certification(s): Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator

DESIRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated experience with LINUX systems engineering and administration.
• Demonstrated experience cross-skilling and backfilling for teammates.
• Demonstrated experience handling sensitive data, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and achieving mission outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience with Customer's security-controlled systems, software, and data architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with Customer's Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.

ACTIVE RELEVANT CERTIFICATIONS

• Certification(s): Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator
• Oracle Exadata Database Machine Certified Implementation Specialist

A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
