Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. is seeking an Oracle/SQL DBA to provide enterprise-level database engineering, administration, tuning, and support for VA systems, including cloud modernization in VAEC and BIP AWS VAEC environments.

You will govern changes per VA CM processes, work with migration tools like Liquibase or GoldenGate, and maintain data dictionaries and documentation while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle/SQL administration, DDL/DML, and performance tuning.
• Experience with backup/recovery, database security, data masking, and migration.
• Experience with migration tools Liquibase, Flyway, GoldenGate, DMS, AWS Glue or equivalents.
• Experience supporting cloud database migration or modernization work (AWS, VAEC).
• Experience maintaining Data Dictionaries and physical data models.

Responsibilities

• Manages Oracle and SQL Server databases, supports ETL/ELT, data migration, and modernization to VAEC/VIP AWS VA environments.
• Provide administrative support for Oracle and SQL databases, including setup, maintenance, and optimization.
• Perform DDL/DML operations and overall performance tuning.
• Support migration strategies, validation, and testing of data migrations.
• Support migration and re-hosting of legacy databases to VA cloud platforms such as VAEC.
• Implement and support database migration tools (Liquibase, Flyway, DMS, GoldenGate, AWS Glue).
• Governs changes per VA Configuration Management processes and manages licenses/certificates/upgrades.
• Maintain Data Dictionaries, Physical Data Models, and SOPs.
